Add a small subwoofer with an appropriate class D mono amplifier under the rear seat. Your truck has 6x9 components in the front and 6.5 coaxials in the rear. I’ve installed subs in all my vehicles and plan to. Replace the stock speakers with aftermarket. I’m particularly interested in finding out the stereo wiring for the 11 Sync 4 system.

I think you'll see more bang for your buck with speaker upgrade alone, than a new head unit and sub even. 2021+ Ford F150 - 2021 Basic sound system upgrade thread - Wanted to create a place for people to post any information or upgrades relating to the base stereo system on the ‘21s. Put money into the speaker budget and leave the current Ford head unit, and a small sub. Replacing them with same-size or 5-1/4 aftermarket speakers involves removing the panels, but thats not a terribly difficult job for the average DIY-er. New head unit may help the sound a bit, but again more power to bad speakers, not going to do much. The regular cab F-150 (above) has a pair of 6'x8' speakers in the lower rear side panels, just behind the doors.

Add an amplifier and you'll more than likely destroy them with no sound benefit. I'm no longer into rattling the neighbors windows, just looking to fill in the lows so I hope it will be enough. To retain 2020 Raptor’s Terrain Management systems, you will require a 360 camera adapter. Not compatible with 2021 and newer F-150 models.Technical Note.
